Our hotel is pleased to offer accommodations to those visiting the Plano, Texas area. No matter who you are or what brings you to town, we welcome you to all that Plano has to offer.
Many business travelers who talk about traveling to the Dallas area actually spend most of their time in Plano. That’s because of the large number of companies that make Plano their corporate headquarters or have a major regional hub in the city. These companies include Alliance Data, Capital One Financial Services, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Ericsson, Frito-Lay, HP Enterprise Services, JCPenney, Pizza Hut, YUM! Brands, Rent-A-Center and more.
Top employers who bring many visitors to Plano include Bank of America Home Loans, HP Enterprise Services, Capital One and JC Penney. Also among the biggest employers are Dell, Alcatel-Lucent, Medical Center of Plano and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
Despite all the corporate presences, Plano has a number of shopping choices too. And there are plenty of recreational opportunities too. One of the nation’s most livable cities, Plano has a 500-year-old-tree in Bob Woodruff Park and many other such old and majestic trees. Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve and its 800 acres of green space are connected to Bob Woodruff Park via a system of biking trails.
Getting around Plano is easier than you might imagine for a Texas city because of its choice to be part of Dallas Area Rapid Transit, something only 12 of Dallas’ many suburbs choose to participate in. A light rail connects downtown Plano and Parker Road with many destinations in Dallas. There are park-and-ride facilities as well.
Plano adjoins Dallas, and it’s sometimes hard to know which city you’re actually in. That means you’re always in the big city when you’re in or near Plano, and great opportunities for things to see and do are always nearby.
